Our journey into the wonderful world of bulldogs began in 2002 when Lola came into our lives. We began showing and breeding bulldogs in 2004. Our first litter out of Lola by Am Ch. Edward's O'Scully O'Boo produced Pablo who became our first Champion, first Group Winner and the #2 Bulldog in Canada 2007. We are active in showing our dogs in both CKC and AKC conformation shows.

A very important part of our breeding program at Pelee Bulldogs involves health testing our breeding stock. Health testing must be done by a veterinarian and can then be submitted to the O.F.A. - The Orthopedic Foundation For Animals OFA results are available on their website. Health testing allows us to make informed decisions about the dogs we will or will not breed, and can help to decrease the likelihood that health issues will be passed from generation to generation.
Our 2018 litters will bring us into the seventh generation of bulldogs that we have bred here at Pelee. We selectively breed in order to produce our next show prospect. We have a vested interest in the health of the next generation as we hope this will produce our next member of our show and breeding team. For us this requires that a dog be sound in conformation by conforming to the Bulldog standard, and possess both good health and temperament. All of our bulldogs are registered with the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC). Puppies sold as pets are only sold on non breeding registration, and puppies sold as show prospects are only sold on co-ownership with us.
Over the years we have been blessed to share our lives with many wonderful bulldogs, as well as fellow Bulldoggers and our puppies' new families, who have become part of our extended Pelee family. We look forward to many more years of making memories with our Bulldogs.
